Click the image to view it in English     দিল্লি, এআইএফ‌এফ : প্রাক্তন ম্যানচেস্টার সিটি এবং ইংল্যান্ড কোচ এরিকসন , তার এজেন্টের মাধ্যমে , এআইএফ‌এফ এর কাছে ভারতীয় ফুটবল দলের কোচ হ‌ও‌য়ার ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করেছেন ।    এএফসি কাপে ভালো খেলার পর‌ই তিনি ভারতীয় দলের প্রসংশা করেছিলেন ।  এবার তিনি ভারতীয় দলের কোচ‌ও হতে চান ‌। Click the image to view it in English    এরিকসন তার কোচিং জীবন শুরু করেছিলেন ১৯৭৭ থেকে । তিনি ২০০১ থেকে ২০০৬ পর্যন্ত ইংল্যান্ডের জাতীয় দলের কোচ ছিলেন । এই সময়ে ইংল্যান্ড ২০০২ এবং ২০০৬ বিশ্বে কাপে কোয়ার্টার ফাইনালে উঠেছিল । তার ইউরো ২০০৪ এর কোয়ার্টার ফাইনালে উঠে‌ও আবার পর্তুগালের কাছে পরাজিত হয় । ২০০৭-০৮ মরশুমে ম্যানচেস্টার সিটি এরিকসনকে কোচ হিসেবে নিয়োগ করে । তিনি লিয়েস্টার সিটি , মেক্সিকো , আইভরি কোস্ট এর মতো দলেও কোচিং করিয়েছেন ।    এএফসি কাপের পর , কিছুটা আশ্চর্যজনক ভাবে স্টিফেন কনস্টেনটাইন কোচের পদ ছেড়ে দেন । এর পর থেকেই ফেডারেশন নতুন কোচ খুঁজতে শুরু করেন ।    সূত্র অনুযায়ী , এএফসি কাপে ভালো খেলার ফলে বিশ্বের অনেক ভালো কোচ‌ই ভারতীয় দলকে হ‌ও

কলকাতা : আইএস‌এল এবং আই-লিগ এর সংযুক্তি করনের রোডম্যাপ জানতে এএফসির কাছে চিঠি পাঠাল মোহনবাগান । ২০১৭ সালে ঠিক হয় যে এএফসি দুটি লিগ মিলিয়ে একটি লিগ করার রোডম্যাপ তৈরি করবে । সেই মতো এএফসির প্রতিনিধিরা ভারতের বিভিন্ন ক্লাব ঘুরে দেখেন এবং ফেডারেশনকে চিঠি পাঠান । কিন্তু ফেডারেশন‌ এখনো সেই রোডম্যাপ প্রকাশ করেননি । তাতে কি আছে যা ফেডারেশন ছাড়া জানে কোনো ক্লাব‌ই । মোহনবাগান , ইস্ট বেঙ্গল সহ আটটি ক্লাব একজোট হয়ে আই-লিগ বাঁচাতে উদ্দ্যোগ নিয়ে ফেডারেশন চিঠি দিয়েছিল আগেই । চাপ বাড়াতে এবার মোহনবাগানের চিঠি এএফসিকে । বিশেষ খবর : ফুটবল রত্ন পেল সুনীল ছেত্রী

    দিল্লি :  সুনীল ফুটবল জীবনে নতুন পালকের সংযোজন । জহরলাল নেহরু স্টেডিয়ামের একটি অনুষ্ঠানে ফুটবল দিল্লি , দিল্লির ফুটবলের রাজ্য সমিতি , তাকে ‘ফুটবল রত্ন’ দিয়ে পুরস্কৃত করলেন । ড. শাজি প্রভাকরন , প্রেসিডেন্ট অব্ ফুটবল দিল্লি , সুনীল ছেত্রী-র হাতে তাদের প্রথম ‘ফুটবল রত্ন’টি তুলে দেন ।    প্রসঙ্গত , সুনীল ছেত্রী কিছুদিন আগেই ‘পদ্মশ্রী’ পুরস্কার পেয়েছেন । ‘ফুটবল রত্ন’ পেয়ে তিনি আনন্দ প্রকাশ করেছেন এবং দিল্লির ফুটবল উন্নয়নে সব রকমের সাহায্য করবেন বলে আশ্বস্ত করেছেন ।    সুনীল ছেত্রী বলেন : “ফুটবল দিল্লি আমাকে ‘ফুটবল রত্ন’ হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি দেওয়ায় আমি সম্মানিত ।” “দিল্লি ফুটবলের উন্নয়নে আমার সমর্থন সবসময় থাকবে। আমি নিশ্চিত যে বর্তমান ব্যবস্থাপনা ফুটবল বিকাশের জন্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম করছে, এবং দিল্লিকে ভারতের একটি মডেল ফুটবল রাষ্ট্র বানিয়েছে। দিল্লিতে খেলার সঙ্গে যুক্ত সবাইকে আমার শুভ কামনা ।”    সুনীল ছেত্রী তার ফুটবল জীবন শুরু করেছিলেন দিল্লি থেকে আর এখন সক্রিয় ফুটবলারদের মধ্যে তিনি  বিশ্বের দ্বিতীয় সর্বোচ্চ গোলদাতা ।    ড. শাজি প্রভাকরন বলেন যে : “সুনীলের দর্শনীয় কীর্তি
